For many of us, Jose Mari Chan isn’t just an artist. His music is Christmas in the Philippines. So being part of this event wasn’t just about a sponsorship logo on a poster. It was about honouring the emotions of Overseas Filipinos — nostalgia, joy, sacrifice, and hope.
Why this concert mattered to Forterra
Forterra was created with one simple belief:
Even if we live and work abroad, we deserve to stay connected to the Philippines in a real, meaningful way.
That’s exactly who Forterra serves.
By supporting this concert, we weren’t just “doing marketing” —we were showing up where our community already gathers, laughs, and sings, and saying:
“We see you. We are you. And when you’re ready to talk about long-term plans and property back home, we’re here.”
Our presence at the event
As a sponsor, Forterra:
helped bring the concert to life for the Filipino community,
joined the event partners and organizers in giving prizes and little surprises,
had the chance to connect with attendees, answer questions, and share what we do.
More than anything, we saw what we always feel secretly:
When the music starts, people remember home.
How the concert connected to our mission
Our mission at Forterra Realty Hub is to be:
Your North American Advantage for Philippine Real Estate Investments – created by an Overseas Filipino, for Overseas Filipinos.
That night reminded us that:
Not everyone is ready to buy now — and that’s okay.
Many just need a safe, trusted place to ask questions:
How much do I really need?
Is it safe to buy from abroad?
What if I’m not yet a citizen or PR?
Our first job is not to sell, but to educate and guide.
By sponsoring community events like this, we’re not forcing anyone into decisions. We’re simply saying:
“When you’re ready to turn the love you feel for home into a long-term plan, Forterra is here to walk with you — calmly, clearly, and with your best interest in mind.”
A night of gratitude
The Jose Mari Chan concert was full of:
familiar songs
shared laughter
stories of “naaalala ko tuloy ’yung Pasko sa Pinas”
For Forterra, it was also full of gratitude:
Gratitude for the chance to be part of the Filipino community in Canada
Gratitude for the trust of organizers and partners
Gratitude for every person who came up to ask,“So, what exactly is Forterra?”
And gratitude for every Filipino abroad who continues to dream of going home — not just for a visit, but to something of their own.
Looking forward
Sponsoring this concert is just one of the ways we’re showing up where Overseas Filipinos are.
From here, we’re:
planning more info sessions and events,
preparing our Forterra podcast for 2026,
and building systems that make it easier for you to explore Philippine real estate from North America — with confidence, not confusion.
If you were at the concert and we didn’t get to talk, or if you’re only hearing about us now, you can:
Follow Forterra Realty Hub on Facebook, or
Send us a message if you’re curious about what it could look like to own a piece of home in the Philippines, while building your life abroad. 🏡💙
Because at the end of the day,the same love that makes Christmas songs hit differently…is the same love that makes us dream of a place we can call ours, back home.
